Boston weather forecast 10/31/11: the weather; a trick or treat?

Forecast discussion: Well, after receiving 2-5 inches of snow in the Greater Boston area, high pressure will claim our weather for the next few days. After looking over snow reports, Worcester County received the highest snow total, between 9-15 inches. With so many power outages, the city of Worcester has actually cancelled Halloween tomorrow night. Although most of the snow may have melted this afternoon in our area, please be careful when driving for the morning commute. There still may be some black ice on the roads. But, temperatures will return to seasonable levels by this afternoon, and the trick-or- treaters will have a nice night to try to find their candy fortunes. By Tuesday, increasing clouds is expected in the afternoon, as another coastal low brings the chance of showers in the afternoon. A weak cold front will bring the chance for a few showers by late Thursday night. The upcoming weekend will be nice, with mostly sunny skies and slightly above average temperatures during the day.
