In his new role, Atkins will provide strategic advice to the firm’s corporate clients on leasing, sales and consulting projects in the Greater Boston area, as well as across the United States and internationally.
Prior to joining RBJP, Dean was an attorney on Mintz Levin’s Real Estate and Government Law sections. He represented clients in commercial real estate transactions involving leasing, property management, acquisitions and dispositions, and permitting. He completed and organized more than 1,500 transactions for landlord and tenant clients and managed and developed a comprehensive national leasing and asset management program for office and industrial properties for a multi-billion dollar REIT.
Dean graduated magna cum laude from Boston College Law School and holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government and a Bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He is an active member on several boards and committees, including the Massachusetts Housing and Shelter Alliance, Families First, and the Concord Housing Development Corporation.
“Dean’s legal perspective and significant skill set will help streamline many complicated projects and help our client’s save time and money,” said Robert Richards, president, Richards Barry Joyce Partners.
