MAPC Picks Ameresco To Help With Energy Savings

The Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC), the regional planning agency for more than 100 Greater Boston communities, has picked Framingham-based Ameresco Inc. to help 14 member communities save on their energy costs.

The MAPC and Ameresco hosted a series of kickoff meetings this week in Boston and Framingham to introduce the program. Ameresco will work with each of the 14 communities to audit and assess municipal-owned buildings and infrastructure. The communities include Ashland, Framingham, Sherborn, Sudbury and Wayland in Central Massachusetts.
