Newton, MA — HouseWorks, a private Newton-based home care company dedicated to helping seniors live independently, today announced Karla Jaramillo as Vice President of Finance and Administration and Debra Baldwin as Vice President of Customer Experience at its Newton office.
In her new role as vice president of finance and administration, Jaramillo will oversee and optimize HouseWorks’ financial and administrative operations. Jaramillo was previously Manager of Accounting and Financial Reporting at Canaccord Genuity Inc; prior to that she was Team Leader/Senior Accountant at Plymouth Rock Company Group, both in Boston. An East Boston resident, Jaramillo holds a Bachelor of Science in accountancy from Bentley College and an Executive M.B.A. from Suffolk University.
As vice president of customer experience, Nahant resident Baldwin will continue HouseWorks’ unique entrepreneurial approach to service delivery and work to exceed client expectations. Baldwin was previously director of client relations at Bright Horizons. Prior to that she was Vice President of Client Relations at ChildrenFirst Inc., where she developed new services based on client feedback. She has also held positions at Work/Family Directions and Mass Eldercare. Baldwin holds an MBA, MSW and a certificate in gerontology from Boston College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and sociology from the University of Maine, Orono.
