Travellers hoping to save money during stays in Boston hotels this year by purchasing a CityPASS will be able to visit the Old State House.
It has been confirmed that the attraction will be added to the product’s 2012 programme from 1 March.
Situated on Boston‘s Freedom Trail, the Old State House was the centre of civic life in the city in the 18th century.
It was the site of a number of landmark events in American history, including the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
The building currently houses a number of artefacts and exhibits from the archives of the Bostonian Society.
It is one of several attractions offering discount admission to visitors under the CityPASS programme, along with popular sites such as the New England Aquarium, Museum of Science and Skywalk Observatory at the Prudential Center.
Travellers catching flights to Boston for a break this year can head to the city’s aquarium to experience a new touch tank, where visitors can come into contact with rays and small sharks.
Opodo cheap flights, hotels and car hire – let the journey begin!
