The owners and managers of Suffolk Downs on Tuesday will detail their plans for a gambling resort at the 77-year-old thoroughbred race track, according to a statement from Suffolk Downs.
The media event, scheduled for 11:15 a.m., will include an outline of the proposal and architectural renderings of the project.
Suffolk Downs is the leading contender to win the sole Greater Boston commercial casino license, which will eventually be awarded by the state gambling commission under the state’s new gambling expansion law.
Suffolk Downs is developing the project in partnership with casino giant Caesars Entertainment.
