2. Farmers Market Opens: Today is opening day for the Medford Farmers Market. The market has a new location this year behind City Hall. It will be open from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

3. Medford Lacrosse Players Earn MVP Honors: A total of 37 Medford High School athletes were named to Greater Boston League spring All-Star teams. Earning top honors were boys lacrosse player Ryan McCarthy and girls lacrosse player Jamie DeRosas, who were each named league MVP.

4. Weather: There’s a 40 percent chance of showers today, with highs around 70 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Similar weather is expected tomorrow.

5. Suspect in Medford Library Child Porn Viewing Gets Second Chance at Bail: A man accused of viewing child pornography at Medford Public Library was given a second chance at bail after allegedly violating release conditions, according to court filings. James Judge, 57, of Medford was arrested for a second time last Thursday after he was spotted at Malden Public Library by a library employee on Wednesday, according to police reports. He spent the weekend in jail, but was ordered released by a district court judge following a hearing Monday, according to court records.
