ATT is offering wireless users in the greater Boston and Providence areas a bird’s-eye view of ATT’s wireless network enhancements.
Their recently-launched map shows what work has been done in the Boston-Providence area, which includes New Hampshire. Amherst has had eight completed upgrades since January 2011.
The hyper-local map displays neighborhood-level network enhancements made by ATT since the beginning of 2011. Enhancements include new cell sites, mobile Internet speed upgrades, capacity upgrades and network connection upgrades.
Visitors to the microsite will see a map of the area – which spans from greater Boston out to Worcester, up to southern New Hampshire and down through Cape Cod and Providence – and they are prompted to select the city or town they’re most interested in exploring.
In addition to the Boston-Providence area, ATT has created microsites for: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, South Florida, St. Louis, Tampa-St. Petersburg and Washington, DC. All sites are accessible at the “focus: ATT” landing page.
