What $400G will buy in Greater Boston

From January to July this year, 130 Bay State homes have sold for $400,000 according to the MLS Property Information Network. Wonder what you can get for $400,000?

Here’s a look at several homes that closed in the past month.

On the market for 58 days and originally listed for $419,000, by Maryanne Resendes of Jamaica Hill Realty, this 1,583-square-foot townhouse condominium located at 56 Iffley Road in Jamaica Plain has three bedrooms, two full baths, one half bathroom and a fireplace. There are three outdoor spaces exclusive to the home, including a top deck with views of downtown Boston. In addition, there is a parking space for one car and in-unit laundry. The home has a monthly condo fee of $125 per month and is close to the Orange line and Franklin Park.

Sold by listing agent Heather Ovesen of Re/Max Achievers, this Colonial-style home is located at 321 Bellevue St. in West Roxbury. The original list price was $409,900 and the three-bedroom, one-full-bath home was on the market 35 days. The 1,248-square-foot home is perched on a 4,334-square-foot lot at the top of Bellevue Hill and is close to the train station and Centre Street restaurants. Built in 1935, the home has a brand-new roof, updated systems as well as hardwood floors throughout and a fireplace.

In Medford at 10 Chester Ave., close to Tufts University, is a 1,310-square-foot Colonial-style home that has been completely renovated. Originally built in 1923, the three-bedroom, one-full and one-half-bath home has a new kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, new baths, new electrical service and plumbing. There’s also central air, hardwood floors throughout and a new two-car paved driveway. Stephen Iannessa of Century 21 Advance Realty sold the property, which was listed for $399,900 in 50 days. The home sits on a 3,653-square-foot lot, close to the MBTA bus line, T station and Interstate 93.

Bruce Kirkcaldy, of Re/Max Leading Edge, sold this single-family home at 82 Lafayette St. in Waltham after four days on the market. The 1,555-square-foot, three-bedroom, one-bath home was listed for $408,868. Built in 1920, the property includes newer windows, a new heating system and insulation. Situated on a 9,772-square-foot landscaped lot, the home includes a detached garage and is located close to major highways and public transportation.

Originally listed for $409,900, a three-bedroom, two-bath condo at 12 Ibbetson St. in Somerville included two parking spaces and is in walking distance to Porter and Davis squares. The 902-square-foot residence also had a bonus 450-square-foot private room in the basement with laundry, a full bath and storage. The unit was completely renovated in 2001 including a new kitchen and baths, refinished hardwood floors and crown molding. Shawn Flynn of Redfin sold the property after 29 days on the market. The monthly condo fee is $176.
