BREW 2012 Is Scheduled for October 15 Through October 26
Boston Region Entrepreneurship Week (BREW) announced today the official start of the 2012 celebration of events that will provide programs and activities around entrepreneurship in Greater Boston and the surrounding communities. With the BREW celebration taking place during the weeks of October 15 – October 26, the BREW committee is currently asking for organizers of entrepreneurial events to register their event details online at http://www.brewboston.org. Events can include such things as educational workshops, networking opportunities, competitions, roundtable discussions and expert panels. The committee is also seeking sponsors and partners to help promote and support this regional initiative.
New in 2012, is the addition of BREW Spotlight, a program aimed at educating the community about the valuable resources available through three non-profit organizations doing amazing work in Massachusetts. “The goal of the BREW Spotlight is to introduce our community to local organizations helping to launch, support or educate current and future entrepreneurs on starting and running a business,” said Christine Sierra, Managing Director of BREW. “This year we have elected to shine a spotlight on Interise.org, Merrimack Valley Sandbox Initiative and NFTE.org and will be building programs which highlight the good work that they do.” Learn more at www.brewboston.org/brew-spotlight.
In addition, BREW is pleased to announce the return of the CEO Lunch program as part of the 2012 celebration. The BREW CEO Lunch series offers entrepreneurs, students and anyone exploring doing business in Massachusetts the opportunity to have lunch, one-on-one, with some of the area’s most successful CEO’s and founders. In 2011, BREW enlisted over a dozen lunch hosts and in 2012, BREW wants to know who you’d like to have lunch with. Submit your recommendation at http://www.brewboston.org/brew-ceo-lunch-suggestion/ and BREW will announce their lunch hosts August 1st!
Premier Sponsors of 2012 BREW include Microsoft New England Research Development Center (NERD) and Constant Contact.
