Collaborative project hosted at the 2012 National Apartment Association Education Conference Exposition helps The Greater Boston Food Bank provide more than 2,400 meals to those in need

Provo, UT (PRWEB) July 12, 2012

Property Solutions International, Inc., the fastest growing property management software provider in the nation, announced its recent contribution to The Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB), which was made in conjunction with a collective storytelling project the company hosted at the 2012 National Apartment Association (NAA) Education Conference Exposition in Boston, June 28-30, 2012.

As a leading software provider in the multifamily housing industry, Property Solutions has held a considerable presence at annual conferences and tradeshows for several years. The annual NAA Education Conference Exposition is by far the industry’s largest conference, boasting approximately 6,000 attendees, and this year in Boston, Property Solutions took a community-minded approach to the typical trade show booth. In a project called the Memory Wall, Property Solutions invited the participation of conference attendees to create an, interactive mural to illustrate memorable industry experiences and milestones from people of all backgrounds and titles.

As attendees filled the Exhibit Hall of the Boston Convention Exhibition Center on Thursday, June 28, they were encouraged to share their favorite memories from the industry to include on the Memory Wall at Property Solutions booth #787. There in the exhibit hall, artist Robert Stotts of Monkeyhaus Design live-sketched their experiences and incorporated them into the overall mural. Additionally, for each memory shared Property Solutions pledged to donate $10 to the GBFB. Over two days, more than 100 NAA attendees participated in the Memory Wall, resulting in a substantial contribution from Property Solutions.

“More than most any other field, people who work in the multifamily industry have unique stories that they’ve accumulated throughout their careers. Some stories speak to the meaningful relationships that are forged within communities, others are just fun anecdotes of residents’ bizarre behavior, and there is everything in between,” explained Property Solutions President Ben Zimmer. “Our vision for the Memory Wall was to create a medium for individuals to share and celebrate those memories, while giving back to the city of Boston that was gracious enough to host us for this year’s NAA conference.”

“The Memory Wall project was an innovative way to bring conference attendees together around experiences in the community. The donations associated with the project will enable GBFB to help eastern Massachusetts communities by providing more than 2,400 meals to those in need.” said Catherine D’Amato, GBFB President and CEO.

Property Solutions has a history of supporting outstanding charities through financial donations. Just last year, the company hosted a record-breaking dodge ball game in support of Camp Kesem BYU that raised 30 percent of the organization’s annual support.
