The El Salvador consulate in East Boston played host Saturday to a clinic aimed at providing guidance for young people applying for work permits and a deportation reprieve under a policy rolled out by President Obama called “deferred action for childhood arrivals.” At the free clinic, about 100 young people consulted with lawyers from Greater Boston Legal Services, focusing on the minutiae of the application forms released by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services two weeks ago.
