Boyd Boggess
I’m grateful for the opportunity to combine my passion for history, design and construction to help Boston area homeowners
Somerville, MA (PRWEB) September 17, 2012
Morse Constructions, Inc., a design/build renovation firm serving homeowners through greater Boston, has hired Boyd Boggess as Project Developer. Boggess is responsible for working with clients during the project development phase; creating a clear project scope of work with specifications; developing schedules and budgets; coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and material procurement and delivery; and guiding projects through the pivotal time prior to construction to help insure completion that meets or exceeds client goals.
According to founder Paul Morse, Boggess’ position will enable Morse Constructions to continue to grow without sacrificing the attentive personal service and commitment to quality for which the company is known. “I will continue to work directly with clients, but Boyd will handle many of the logistical details required for a well- run remodeling project,” explains Morse.
Boggess brings an extensive background in general contracting, interior design, antique furniture restoration and sales to his new position. He grew up under the tutelage of his grandfather, a well-known international antiques dealer, and his mother, a noted Chicago-based interior designer. For the past 15 years, he has been self-employed as a licensed general contractor in Florida. He recently relocated to Boston as his wife pursues a law degree.
Boggess says: “I attended high school in New England and have deep roots in the area. I feel a bit as if I am coming back home. I’m grateful for the opportunity to combine my passion for history, design and construction to help Boston area homeowners.”
