(NECN) – Thursday means it’s time to go on the record– this week, with the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and its vice president, Charles Rudnick.
Rudnick joined NECN’s Mike Nikitas to discuss the rise in the unemployment rate from 6.1 to 6.3 from July to August, and the fact that Massachusetts lost 4,800 jobs.
How does the Chamber interpret this information?
“It’s hard to sugarcoat these numbers– it’s not good news,” Rudnick said. “The unemployment rate ticked up, and what’s more important than … the specific numbers is that it’s now become a trend.”
