Former Wolfson Cutler to become Weichert, Realtors

Fred Massa, of Boston, and Svetlana Javakhyan, of Malden, the president/CEO and vice president of Sales for Wolfson Cutler Real Estate in Medford announce their real estate agency will become an independently owned and operated member of Weichert Real Estate Affiliates (WREA).

The office, located at 362 Salem St., Medford, will now be known as WEICHERT, REALTORS® —Blueprint Brokers.

WEICHERT, REALTORS® — Blueprint Brokers replaces Wolfson Cutler Real Estate, which has served the Greater Boston area for more than 50 years. Massa and Javakhyan will be partners and will lead the growth of the agency, which will retain the dozen former Wolfson Cutler employees also as part of the transition.

Prior to becoming part of the Weichert® organization, Massa was the owner of Wolfson Cutler Real Estate, which he acquired in 2011.

His real estate experience dates back more than a decade, when he founded the commercial/industrial real estate brokerage, ICB (Industrial Concepts Brokerage). He further expanded his reach in the Boston real estate market earlier this year with the creation of another agency, Doubleclick Rental Properties, which caters exclusively to the rental market in Boston. Prior to his work in real estate, he was the owner of a software distribution company. Both ICB and Doubleclick will continue to operate independently of the Weichert® agency.

Javakhyan also brings a strong background in real estate to her new role. Most recently, she served as vice president of sales at Wolfson Cutler, and, before that, she was affiliated with ERA Boston Real Estate, Coldwell Banker and Keller Williams.

Her work experience also includes affiliations with commercial real estate and property management firms in the Boston area.

She was recently recognized by Banker Tradesman as a “Women of FIRE” (Finance, insurance, real estate) for her significant contributions to the real estate industry and community in general. She is a Certified Home Marketing Specialist, a New Home Specialist, and a member of The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing. The Armenian native began her career in music, studying in Austria; then in 2000 she auditioned with the Boston Conservatory of Music.

“We are delighted to be affiliated with the Weichert® team,” said Javakhyan. “They have a strong reputation and an unwavering commitment to superior customer service and real estate expertise. The Weichert® model is very business-like, very focused on customer service, and offers great opportunity for serious real estate agents to prosper and grow. It is a well-organized plan and will provide the tools we need to be certain that our strong clientele service is the best anywhere.”

Massa agreed.

“We are committed to growing the brand in this region,” he said. “We look forward to building on the reputation we have established in this industry and see our partnership with the Weichert® organization as enhancing this effort.”

The partners said their affiliation with the Weichert® brand will enable them to expand their marketshare even further than the strong level of growth they have already experienced. They noted that Weichert’s Internet presence, relocation outreach and support are unequalled.  “These benefits, plus the opportunity to join something so well established in this region, fit well with our entrepreneurial spirit,” they said.

A grand opening of the new Boston affiliate will be announced in the near future.  For additional information, call Javakhyan at WEICHERT, REALTORS® — Blueprint Brokers at 781-396-9500.
