For the second year in a roFor the second year in a row, the Medford High Golf team has captured the Greater Boston League title with a perfect 8-0 record in league play.
The Mustangs were led by seniors Maxine Harney, Charlie Chouniard, Allyson Mollung and Cory Mortel .
Medford stormed through the season undefeated with a state sectional berth at stake.
“We have a strong team this year,” said Medford Coach Ray Dyer. “And with another year of experience behind us we should fare much better in the state tournament at Bradford Country Club.”
The Mustangs are slated to play the state tournament Oct. 22.
