The following is a translation of this block of text:
The caller reported a woman screaming and crying in front of the location, the cross streets of which were Montecito Road and Cortese Drive. The woman then screamed that she was attacked. The woman was jogging when she was attacked by a man on a bike.
The man was possibly on a mountain bike. The subject was described as a Hispanic male in his 20s on a BMX bike and wearing a dark shirt and pants. The weapon was a knife. The subject was last seen heading eastbound on Bostonian towards Rossmoor Way.
Officers stopped a subject on a bike but did not know if he was related to the incident. This subject stated that ninety minutes prior to their contact, he saw two Hispanic males at the Arco gas station at Los Alamitos and Foster. The first subject was described as being 17-20 years old, 5’8” tall with a black BB cap, oversize black shirt, dark colored Dickies, and black tall socks. The second subject was described as having light skin and wearing a blue jacket, white shirt, blue basketball shorts. The informant saw the subjects on BMX bikes headed into Rossmoor but did not know if they were related to the incident.
An officer located earphones that looked like they were pulled off of the victim and asked to be notified if the suspect had touched them.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department will be holding a community meeting tonight at 7pm at the Rossmoor Park Community Center, 3232 Hedwig Road.
