National Grid reporting increased power outages


(NECN: Peter Howe – Newton, Mass.) – In the Greater Boston area, the effects of Hurricane Sandy are definitely starting to worsen.

Power outages have spiked in the last hour (as of 3 p.m. ET), and trees are coming down on power lines. According to National Grid, there are 41,000 people without power, and things are getting especially bad in Quincy, Mass.
