Pine Street Inn Serves Thanksgiving To Boston’s Needy

BOSTON — Many shelters and soup kitchens in the Greater Boston area will be busy places Thursday as they serve up some comfort for those in need with a traditional Thanksgiving meal.

Few places will be busier than the Pine Street Inn in Boston, where volunteers began arriving at 3:00 a.m. to start preparing the more than 1,500 meals the shelter plans to serve today.

Pine Street Inn Spokeswoman Barbara Trevison spoke with Bob Oakes on WBUR’s Morning Edition.
