The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce announced the winners Thursday of its 2013 Pinnacle Awards, which seek to honor the accomplishments of eight women in Greater Boston who have achieved excellence in business and management.
The lifetime achievement award will be conferred upon Susan Hockfield, a former president of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Other winners include Diane Hessan, president and chief executive of Communispace; State Street Corp. executive vice president Alison A. Quirk; Susan Windham-Bannister, president and chief executive of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center; Sharon Reilly, executive director of the Women’s Lunch Place; Myechia Minter-Jordan, chief medical officer of the Dimock Center; Anne Hawley, the Norma Jean Calderwood director of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum; and Zenobia Moochhala, cofounder and vice president of Care.com Inc.
In a statement, chamber president and chief executive Paul Guzzi said, “The Pinnacle Awards pay tribute to some of the region’s most accomplished female leaders. Our 2013 honorees demonstrate excellence within their respective fields, and are an inspiration to aspiring female leaders—and to all of us in this community.�
