BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – The Boston Police Dept. is in possession of property left at the scene the day of the Boston Marathon bombings.
The FBI released certain pieces of property to the Boston Police Dept. if it was deemed to have no evidentiary value.
Anyone who may want to inquire about property left in the Boylston Street area on April 15 can email lostproperty.bpd@cityofboston.gov or call the mayor’s hotline at 617-635-4500.
Individuals can also visit the Return of Property Center at Boston Police Dept. headquarters in the Media Room from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday to Friday.
Detectives from the BPD will deliver items to owners in the greater Boston area.
If owners are located in Massachusetts, but outside of the greater Boston area, the department will coordinate with other police departments to facilitate their return.
