Three weeks after the Boston Marathon bombings, many of the most severely injured victims are being treated at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital’s new facility in Charlestown. Roseann Sdoia was waiting for a friend to cross the finish line when the second bomb exploded just feet from where she was standing. Her right leg was so badly hurt it had to be amputated above the knee. Today, Sdoia is walking on crutches and will soon be fitted with a prosthetic leg. She sat down with Greater Boston host Emily Rooney for an extended interview about her experience at the Marathon, her injuries, and her recovery.
