Jack Connors helps Campaign for Catholic Schools mark milestone

The Campaign for Catholic Schools, a fund-raising effort to rebuild Catholic schools in Greater Boston’s urban neighborhoods, celebrated its fifth anniversary with a gathering at Pope John Paul II Catholic Academy in Dorchester. Hill Holliday founder Jack Connors and Cardinal Sean O’Malley said the effort had raised more than $68 million, and that doesn’t include a just-announced anonymous donation of $7.5 million. Guests at the event included Shields Health Care’s Tom Shields, the Yawkey Foundation’s John Harrington, Adage Capital’s Bob Atchinson, state Secretary of Education Matt Malone
, former Hill Holiday CEO Mike Sheehan, and Tracy Campion of Campion and Co.
