A Beacon Hill resident was recently part of the “Step Into Summer” fundraiser that helped raise both money and awareness for the Greater Boston Food Bank.
Sarah Biller, who lives on Beacon Hill and is the president of Capital Market Exchange, is one of three chairs of GBFB’s “Kitchen Cabinet,” which hosted the Monday event at the Harpoon Brewery Beer Hall.
Spokeswoman Dianna Curry said Monday’s event was attended by over 100 people and was able to raise enough money “to provide more than 23,000 nutritious meals for those in need throughout eastern Massachusetts.”
According to their website, the Kitchen Cabinet is a “group of greater Boston-area professionals dedicated to ending hunger in our community” since 2005.
Biller’s fellow Kitchen Cabinet chairs are: Hannah Commoss of Salem, the Deputy Chief Investment Officer and Public Markets and Director of Strategic Initiatives for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ PRIM Board; and Kirby Lunger of Boston, a Principal at Performance Architects, leading sales, marketing and alliances.
