Proper Bostonian Quilters Guild Exhibits Work by Local Artists

BHT1“We’re Not in Kansas Anymore,” detail of a hand pieced, hand-quilted and embroidered wall-hanging created by Terri Mazzulli of the West End, is seen above.

Her original design (using “Wizard of Oz” fabrics) is one of more than 200 quilts created by members of the Proper Bostonian Quilters Guild (PBQ), which will be on display at the PBQ Quilt Show at Monsignor Donahue Hall at Saint Theresa School in West Roxbury on Friday, Oct. 4, from 6 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Of added interest for attendees, the show will also feature the PBQ “Unique Boutique,” raffle quilt, raffle baskets, baked goods, refreshments and vendor tables.
