The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce announced Wednesday the names of 63 emerging women leaders who have been selected to participate in its 2013-14 Women’s Leadership Program.

The year-long curriculum is conducted in collaboration with the Simmons School of Management and is designed to help participants enhance their leadership skills and become engaged in the region’s civic and business communities, the chamber said.

“One of our top priorities as a chamber is fostering a new generation of leaders for the Greater Boston community through our leadership development programs and talent retention efforts,” chamber president and chief executive Paul Guzzi said in a statement. “We are impressed with the strong, sustained interest in our three core leadership offerings, particularly the Women’s Leadership Program. This year’s class includes a broad variety of young leaders from the business, government, and nonprofit communities, and we look forward to working with these talented women in the year to come.”
