The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce yesterday announced the 63 women who have been selected to participate in its 2013-14 Women’s Leadership Program.
The yearlong curriculum, which began yesterday, is conducted in collaboration with the Simmons School of Management and is designed to help participants enhance their leadership skills and become involved in the region’s communities.
“This year’s class includes a broad variety of young leaders from the business, government and nonprofit communities, and we look forward to working with these talented women in the year to come,” Paul Guzzi, president and CEO of the chamber, said in a statement.
Participants were selected from a pool of more than 100 candidates nominated by chamber members. Among those selected were Catherine Cardon, lead analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, Mealea Chan-Polcari, mortgage loan officer at First Federal Savings Bank of Boston, Marissa Frerk, assistant counsel at Brookline Bank, Daneta Kerikas, business analyst at State Street Corp., Courtney McKeen, assistant vice president and audit manager at Salem Five Bank, and Stacy Vincent, assistant vice president at State Street Corp.
Throughout the year, Women’s Leadership Program members will participate in seminars, workshops, roundtables and other events throughout the year focused on personal leadership development, negotiation, skill building and networking.
