FarHawk Marketing Services promotes IonBench and MS Noise products in the upcoming Greater Boston Mass Spectrometry Discussion Group Corporate Night, to be held Thursday, October 3, 2013.

Evans Mills NY and Gananoque, ON. (PRWEB) September 29, 2013

FarHawk Marketing Services will be representing two of its principals, IonBench of Joigny, France, and MS Noise of Sens, France, at the upcoming Greater Boston Mass Spectrometry Discussion Group (GBMSDG) Corporate Night October 3rd, at the Marriott, Kendall Square, Cambridge Massachusetts.

The appearance is part of the ongoing efforts of IonBench and MS Noise to be more involved in local and regional meetings. Last month FarHawk attended the New Jersey Mass Spectrometry Discussion Group Vendor Night in Edison, NJ on behalf of both companies.

“We are doing this in part to connect with users and prospective users at the local level,” said Tim Hawkins of FarHawk. “And also thank them for their phenomenal support of our acoustic enclosures for vacuum pumps and our benches for mass spectrometry and chromatography.” Order receipts for this calendar year are ahead of last year by 45 percent, with prospects for continued growth. A significant amount of business comes from the Greater Boston area.

The GBMSDG Corporate Night meeting is an annual event. In previous years, over 250 attendees from industry and academia participated.

The vacuum pump enclosures manufactured by MS Noise reduce noise perception by 75 percent, thus making labs safer, more productive, and healthier work places. Although ambient laboratory noise is less than the OSHA maximum of continuous exposure, conventional laboratory noise levels are known to increase blood pressure, add to stress, and negatively affect concentration.

The benches for mass spectrometry manufactured by IonBench reduce noise by the same amount, so offer the same sound suppression advantages as the enclosures. Furthermore, they essentially eliminate vibration transfer to the mass spectrometer, thus adding to its performance and product lifetime.

Representatives of FarHawk Marketing will be at the event through the day to hand out product literature and to visit with customers and prospective customers.
