BOSTON (WCVB/CNN) – Anyone who’s ever been a bridesmaid has had the thought of, “When am I ever going to wear this dress again?”
A charity race in Boston gives women a chance to reuse those gowns while raising money for a good cause.
Hundreds of racers lined up in their formal wear on Saturday for the second annual “Running with the Bridesmaids” fun run in Boston.
They did a lap around Boston Common in a benefit race for the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston.
When they were done, racers were treated to an after party featuring a wedding DJ, mimosa bar and brunch bites.
Prized were given out for the “worst dressed” racer and race team, along with “worst hair.”
