Hospice of the North Shore Greater Boston recommend those who are grieving usually want and need to talk about their loss and bringing up the subject can make the process easier. Faye Callahan wants to help those grieving with her new book.
Callahan’s book, “Part I Mount Up with Wings; Part II To Everything There is a Season,” defines and elucidates passages from the Bible, along with giving advice on the process of grief after a loved one passes.
“The first part of my book is inspirational messages that help us deal with the problems of life,” Callahan said. “It discusses getting discouraged, struggling over little things, disturbing dreams and going through the storms of life.”
The second half of Callahan’s book is a memoir embracing her journey through trials, tribulations and acceptance after the loss of her husband, eight siblings and friends.
“’Part I Mount Up with Wings; Part II To Everything There is a Season’ was written to be understood by the average person, I want them to be able to relate to the message of the book,” Callahan said.
