Marlborough Mass.-based Sunovion Pharmaceuticals Inc. today launched its second annual national community service initiative Sunovion Hands On! which is mobilizing Sunovion employees across the United States to give back to their communities. Through this program which extends through November 15 Sunovion will help revitalize and repair community spaces support animal rescue initiatives and provide assistance for organizations supporting children families and veterans in need.
As part of the initiative Sunovion employees based in Marlborough are contributing their time and efforts to benefit 14 nonprofit organizations located throughout the Greater Boston area including several Boys Girls Club Clubhouses environmental sites food pantries homeless shelters and public schools in need of volunteer services. Sunovion will also assemble and donate 1200 overnight bags to the New England Center for Homeless Veterans providing basic personal care items for displaced veterans.
