Henry Mittelman Expands Boston Area Growth Coach Business – Virtual

After a decade in the business, Henry Mittelman is expanding his Growth Coach business to serve more Boston business leaders.

Boston, MA (PRWEB) October 15, 2013

For almost a decade, Henry Mittelman, the CEO of The Growth Coach Boston has been primarily focused on working with CEOs, business owners and self-employed professionals – and now he’s expanding to serve even more business leaders and sales professionals in the Boston community.

“Due to the need presented by the unique challenges of today’s business environment, I have decided to expand the business to serve executive teams, mid-level management teams, and sales teams,” Mittelman said. “During my 30-year career, I’ve worked with large and medium size corporations, small privately owned firms, retailers, manufacturers and distributors. This diverse experience, in all facets of business, serves me well as a business coach. My goal is to help my clients make changes in their habits and behaviors so they can make immediate and lasting improvements in their business and personal lives.”

Mittelman said, “training and seminars can be a good way to learn a particular skill. However, long term improvements require changes in habits and behaviors. Those kind of changes take an extended period of time. That’s what The Growth Coach process is all about. I become my client’s personal GPS to continually keep them on track, and hold them accountable, so they achieve their goals.”

“People love to talk about how they can multitask. It’s the hot trait of the decade. Unfortunately, just because they are busy multitasking, doesn’t mean they are being effective. It may just mean they’re busy. The truth of the matter is, people would be better off if they could distinguish between high value work, and low value work. It’s important for people to step back and ask what’s the one or two things they can do that has the greatest impact on driving their business forward? That’s where they need to be spending their time. It’s a big picture question that few people ever ask themselves”.

The Growth Coach process has been proven and continually refined over the years. Mittelman is one of 140 certified coaches in North America and abroad. While a good portion of the coaching is facilitated through affordable group workshops, Mittelman also provides a select group of CEOs, senior level executives, and business owners with one-on-one personalized coaching. In addition, he creates customized programs as needed.

As an entrepreneur, Mittelman has developed a number of highly successful companies that provided advisory services to national and regional banks and specialty lending institutions. He serves as president of AGENTA Partners, an advisory firm to the financial services industry, and previously served as president of Ozer Valuation Services, president of Appraisal Development at Gordon Brothers Group, a managing director at KPMG’s retail transactions practice, and helped develop Loehmann’s into one of the country’s premier women’s off-price specialty store chains. It’s that experience that encouraged Mittelman to expand his current business.

Linda Goodman, principal at LG Associates, is excited about how Mittelman’s expansion will serve the greater Boston community.

“I have known Henry for over 15 years. In that time, he has consistently exhibited the qualities one would look for in a business coach. He’s a big picture creative leader and motivational team builder,” Goodman said. “His ability to nurture talent and foster innovative strategic and tactical solutions across a wide range of industries has earned him the reputation of being a trusted advisor. He’s widely respected for his integrity, up beat personality, and, most of all, his ability to make things happen.”

The Growth Coach Boston primarily serves Metro-West and the greater Boston area and is a member of The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. For additional information, visit http://www.thegrowthcoachboston.com, email Mittelman at thegrowthcoachboston(at)gmail(dot)com or call 617-901-6159.
