On the Record: Boston to Beijing air service

(NECN) – It has been a busy week on the Boston business front.

Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Paul Guzzi joins NECN to discuss the top stories.

The first nonstop flights between Boston and Beijing, China will begin next year.

“China is the second largest economy in the world,” “For those of us who have made the flight before, 18-20 hours, this now is direct for 13 hours. But we have a lot of world class assets … This is going to mean a lot in terms of increased revenues to Massachusetts in general, and to Greater Boston in particular.”

Guzzi also touched on the beige book survey released by the federal reserve and population growth.
