Everett still perfect

After blowing a double-digit lead and falling behind 10 in the third quarter, Everett came back to life in the fourth to beat Cambridge, 74-63, in a Greater Boston League boys basketball encounter last night.

Gary Clark was a huge help with 18 points, including 11 in the final eight minutes when the Crimson Tide outscored the visitors, 24-12.

“Coach (John DiBiaso) was telling me, ‘You got to become more aggressive and we have to rebound more,’ ” said Clark. “And that’s what I did. We played with more intensity.”

The Crimson Tide (6-0) started the game on a 16-6 run and it looked like a long night for the Falcons (5-2) after falling down as much as 12 in the first quarter. Demitrius Woodsack hit two consecutive 3-pointers to cut the host’s lead to 27-21, and the Falcons were able to tie the game, 34-34, at the half.
