BOSTON — The Greater Boston area is set to get six medical marijuana dispensaries, according to documents just released by the state Executive Office of Health and Human Services.
Boston is slated to get two dispensaries owned by Green Heart Holistic Health Pharmaceuticals and Good Chemistry of Massachusetts. The exact addresses of the locations of the dispensaries were not immediately available and will be determined at a later date. Calls and emails to the two Boston companies for comment on their successful applications were not immediately returned.

According to state filings, Good Chemistry filed for three licenses.
Outside of Boston-proper, four additional communities were granted approval for a medical marijuana dispensary.
The Greeneway Wellness Foundation, another company that applied for three licenses, was approved for a dispensary in Cambridge.
Norfolk County will see two possible medical marijuana dispensaries: one in Brookline, to be operated by New England Treatment Access, and one in Quincy, to be operated by Ermont.
Garden Remedies in Newton was also approved for a license.
