Another ‘significant’ winter storm possible for Boston mid-week

Another winter storm appears to be headed for Boston this week but whether it brings heavy snow or a mix of rain and snow will depend on if the storm tracks west or east.

If the storm tracks west the Greater Boston area will receive a mix of rain and snow while the western portion of the state will see more snow. If the storm tracks east the Hub will get mostly snow.

The amount of snow that Greater Boston receives remains unknown.
