A summary of recent transactions and personnel news within Greater Boston’s real estate community.

  • Douglas Jacoby and Scott Dragos have joined the Boston office of Colliers International to lead its investment sale team. With 35 years of combined financial and investment management experience, Jacoby and Dragos specialize in the acquisition and disposition of property. Both previously worked at NAI Hunneman and Newmark Knight Frank. In addition to Jacoby and Dragos, associate Michael McLaughlin and assistant Lyndsey Ferreira join Colliers from NAI Hunneman. The four will team with Colliers’ senior vice president Gail McDonough, assistant vice president Anthony Hayes and associate Timothy Mulhall, to market commercial properties. After a short transition period, Colliers’ current investment team leader, Lisa Campoli, will leave her position to launch a private real estate firm focused on investments in Greater Boston.
  • Moelicious LLC, a franchisee of Moe’s Southwest Grill, has leased a 3,500-square-foot space on the second floor of 6 Otis St. on Route 9 in Westborough, while Cre8 LLC, a design studio, leased 4,200 square feet in the same building. Moe’s was represented by the Proto Group. Metrowest Commercial Real Estate represented Cre8 LLC. Greater Boston Commercial Properties represented the landlord, Westborough-Otis Street Realty Trust.
  • Jason Fivek has left Boston Properties to lead Jones Lang LaSalle’s Massachusetts Turnpike/Route 128 brokerage team as a managing director. He will specialize in representing tenants and investors in leasing and sales of office, research and development space within the Greater Waltham area. Fivek joins a team comprised of Alex Dauria, Tyler Spring and Brendan Cohn.
  • National Development/Charles River JV LLC has sold 25 Research Drive, a 282,028-square-foot Class A office building in Westborough, to AGNL Wholesale LLC for $26.7 million. The campus is located on a 3.25-acre site near the junction of Route 9, I-495 and I-90. The property is leased to BJ’s Wholesale Club, for the company’s headquarters, until 2026. Avison Young represented the seller and procured the buyer.
  • Jones Lang LaSalle has completed the $2 million construction of Life is good’s new headquarters at 51 Melcher St. in Boston’s Seaport District. Designed by Baker Design Group, the 22,000-square-foot space was built to support the company’s collaborative groups. The new space contains a variety of conference rooms, community worktables, stand-up media-sharing tables, and living room groupings with lounge chairs, sofas, and large flat panel video displays for laptop or iPad presentations.
