The National Weather Service continues to call for a significant snow storm to affect the Greater Boston region on Sunday night into Monday mid-day.
Significant accumulating snows, south of the Massachusetts/Vermont-New Hampshire border are called for with the highest probability of ‘warning-level’ snows in the area south of the Massachusetts Turnpike.
The NOAA is also monitoring coastal concerns. Concerns are centering around the midday tide, and wave/surge activity into the evening as northerly winds and wave action should increase as the low deepens and lifts out of southern New England.
There has not been an estimate as yet of possible snow totals and we will continue to monitor the situation as the weekend progresses.
