Representatives of Greater Boston’s healthiest companies for 2014 turned out in droves Thursday for the Boston Business Journal’s Healthiest Employers event at the Ritz-Carlton in Boston.

Companies were honored for a range of programs in areas including weight-loss and smoking-cessation.

“A healthy workforce is obviously a sign of a healthy company,” said BBJ Publisher Chris McIntosh. “They go hand in hand. Our awards and event will spotlight what area companies are doing help their employees thrive on the job, and, in turn, boost morale and productivity.”
