“Boston has always been at the top of our wish list as a location for ‘Top Chef,’ not only because of its rich historical significance, but also because of its robust and ever-growing culinary scene,” Shari Levine, SVP of Current Production for Bravo, said in the statement.
The Boston Globe confirmed earlier “Top Chef”-Hub rumors on Tuesday during a conversation with Jennifer Levy, Bravo’s senior vice president of production.
Fenway Park and Plimouth Plantation are on Levy’s list of potential filming locations, she said, and added that “the great sports culture will be fun inspiration.”
Boston personalities affiliated with the show are slated to make appearances, per the report. There’s no confirmation on which ones, but we’re guessing that “Top Chef” season 10 winner Kristen Kish, formerly of Menton, season 1 runner-up Tiffani Faison, chef and owner of Fenway’s Sweet Cheeks, and Tico owner Michael Schlow of “Top Chef” masters will be on the list.
