Top Chef will soon get cooking in Boston.
Bravo has announced it’s paired up with the Greater Boston Convention Visitors Bureau to film the twelfth season of Top Chef in Boston, MA.
“Boston has always been at the top of our wish list as a location for Top Chef, not only because of its rich historical significance, but also because of its robust and ever-growing culinary scene,” Bravo executive Shari Levine said in a statement.
“Top Chef will showcase the many facets of the city which in turn will bring its fresh, unique flavor to Season 12.”
Hosted once again by Padma Lakshmi, Top Chef‘s twelfth edition will begin production this spring and feature chef’testants battling it out to prove their culinary skills. Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons will return as judges, while some guest judges will include Boston-based chefs and celebrities.
Bravo announced Top Chef‘s renewal in January, and its upcoming season is set to premiere this fall.
Top Chef is produced by Magical Elves with Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz serving as executive producers.
