Last night, The Improper Bostonian celebrated its annual Boston’s Best issue at the Pru’s Skywalk Observatory.
Once past the long elevator line (and after the cramped ride up), honorees, advertisers and VIP partygoers enjoyed tunes by DJ Frank White and drinks by Budweiser Black Crown, Cointreau and 90+ Cellars.
Making the scene were Big Mack from Hot 96.9; Craigie on Main and Kirk- land Tap and Trotter’s chef Tony Maws and his wife, Karolyn; Alden Harlow’s (best new restaurant winner) Michael Scelfo; Improper publisher Wendy Semonian; editor Jackie Houton; and account exec Luba Gore- lik and her fiance, Forum owner Euz Azevedo.
This town’s other favorite social columnist, Jonathan Soroff, was reported to be MIA — we heard he was vacationing somewhere in New England with his handsome partner, Sam Mazzarelli — but he showed up at the very last minute, fashionably late as always.
The theme of the evening wasn’t clear, but thankfully the skies were — giving us all a fabulous 360-degree view of Boston.
Winners of note include Fairsted Kitchen, Crush Boutique, Boomerang’s, Covet, Shag and Clarks.
The issue is on streets now.
