Boston is seeing a development boom, but do all of the cranes mean new living space is on the way?
The Boston Business Journal reports on the story behind Greater Boston’s housing bottleneck.
Real estate editor Thomas Grillo said most of the housing development is for luxury living and confined to Downtown Boston.
“There are at least 6,000-8,000 units that are either in the pipeline, under construction or on the way in the downtown, but the problem is out in the suburbs,” he said.
