Seven recent leases signed in MetroWest

Despite what it said were high vacancy rates in the area, Greater Boston Commercial Properties (GBCP) recently brokered leases for seven properties in the MetroWest area.

Architectural firm Dario Design Inc. leased 5,398 square feet of space on the second floor at 318 Main St. in Northborough from Capital Group Properties.

In a second transaction, Disruptor Beam, a computer game programmer that has produced Game of Thrones and other personal computer games, expanded into 4,014 square feet on the second floor of 161 Worcester Road in Framingham.

GBCP also handled new leases for a 1,750 square foot office at 176 East Main St. in Westborough to Sports Fields Holdings LLC; a 1,639 square foot office lease to Citara Systems at 239 South St. in Hopkinton; and a 1,835 square foot office lease to HelixBind at 181 Cedar Hill St. in Marlborough.

The company brokered two lease renewals as well. The first was a 1,230 square foot office lease to Workbeast, LLC at 65 Boston Post Road W. in Marlborough; the second was a 3,328 square foot office lease to RMS at 87 Elm St. in Hopkinton
