Find Out About Fall Theater With Ed Siegel

Theatre Expo logoCome say hello to Ed Siegel, editor of The ARTery on wbur.org, at the second annual Greater Boston Theatre Expo. WBUR is pleased to return as a media partner of the Expo, which takes place in the Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts.

The expo features more than 50 theater companies from Boston and the surrounding region. It’s a great way to find out what the area’s theater companies, from the largest to the smallest, are staging in the upcoming season. Some theaters will also be providing exclusive, Expo-only ticket offers and giveaways.

“On a typical Friday night during the theatre season, Greater Boston theatre audiences have a choice of nearly 40 different theatrical productions from Portsmouth to Providence,” observes Michael Maso, Huntington Theatre Company managing director and Expo co-organizer. “But because of our geographic disparity, it can be easy to overlook our scope, scale, and economic impact on the region. The convergence of more than 50 organizations at the Greater Boston Theatre Expo will be a reminder of the theatre community’s breadth, variety, and vitality.”

The event is free and open to all. An RSVP is not required but will help the organizers plan; for more information and to RSVP, click here.
