Candidates for governor hitting campaign trail.
BOSTON (AP) — The Democratic and Republican candidates for governor are casting regarding for votes in Boston as they start looking past the primaries and ahead to the November election.
Martha Coakley will join Congressman Michael Capuano at a tavern in the city’s Charlestown neighborhood Friday at noon to talk regarding her economic plans if elected governor.
She’ll be joined by fellow Democrat and attorney general candidate Maura Healey.
A short time later Republican candidate for governor Charlie Baker will be visiting senior citizens at the Greater Boston Chinese Golden Age Center in the city’s Brighton neighborhood.
Previously in the day, Baker will tour downtown Quincy with Mayor Thomas Koch.
Gov. Deval Patrick is also hitting the campaign trail Friday. He’ll be in Salem to endorse Seth Moulton, the Democratic nominee in Massachusetts’ 6th Congressional District.
