Belmont Savings Bank
Belmont Savings Bank is sponsoring multiple events in the Boston area this weekend: the Newtonville Village Day Jazz Festival in Newton, the annual Faire on the Square in Watertown, the Gore Place Fall Festival in Waltham and the Greater Boston Alzheimer’s Walk.
Bristol County Savings Bank
Taunton-based Bristol County Savings Bank recently presented a check for $25,000 to the city of Attleboro for its 100th anniversary activities. The city held a birthday party birthday Capron Park on Sept. 6, which included a grand parade, citywide community photo and a fireworks display.
Caritas Communities
Members of The Home Depot’s Pro Desk team joined volunteers from the nonprofit Caritas Communities on Wednesday to paint the interior walls and woodwork of a triple-decker single-room-occupancy residence on Sydney Street. Caritas is a nonprofit owner and manager of permanent veteran and affordable single-room occupancy housing in Greater Boston.
Grafton Suburban Credit Union
Grafton Suburban Credit Union recently donated $5,000 to the Grafton Lions Club. The money will provide support to community programs families in need, as well as and provide financial assistance to the disabled, underprivileged, elderly and youth.
MutualOne Bank
The Framingham-based MutualOne Charitable Foundation awarded a $5,000 grant to Operation Outreach-USA. The educational nonprofit will use the funds to help up to 400 students in grades first to third at Barbieri Elementary School develop literacy skills and learn compassion and respect for people, animals and the environment.
Tocci Building Cos.
Boston-based Tocci Building Cos. last month helped sponsor the sixth annual Buddy Run along with the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club. At the Buddy Run, more than 100 motorcyclists completed the two-hour urban “motorcycle run” to support the Boston Medical Center and the Supporting Parents and Resilient Kids Center.
