Aerosmith’s Joe Perry visits ‘Greater Boston’ to talk ‘Rocks’

“Greater Boston” host Emily Rooney looked a little bit country and a little bit rock ’n’ roll when she interviewed
Joe Perry. Rooney wore a sleeveless leather dress for her sitdown with the Aerosmith guitarist, who’s making the media rounds hyping his new memoir, “Rocks: My Life In and Out of Aerosmith.” In the book, Perry says he didn’t have as much sex as frontman Steven Tyler, whose frolics were legendary. But the guitarist does mention a torrid fling with “Laugh-In” comedian-actress Judy Carne. “Judy,” he writes, “took me to a new dimension of hedonism.”
