The cable MSO has already installed 100 employees at the facility and expects to have 200 employees working in the office by the end of the year.
With the new positions, Comcast will have more than 1,700 employees across the state, and more than 5,000 across its greater Boston footprint. The company has 12 offices in the Granite State in communities such as Concord, Manchester, Nashua, Portsmouth and Salem.
“The opening of Comcast’s new facility is exciting for the Hudson community and the state of New Hampshire, creating hundreds of good jobs and representing why New Hampshire is as well positioned as any state to lead the country in innovative economic growth,” Governor Hassan said. “This new facility will build on Comcast’s significant contributions to our state’s economy and communities, and I would like to thank Comcast for their commitment to the Granite State. I look forward to continuing to work closely with the company to expand middle class opportunities and keep our economy moving in the right direction.”
Employees at the new call centre provide support for all Comcast residential products and services, handling calls from across the greater Boston Region, which serves 1.6 million customers in New Hampshire, Maine, Eastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod and the Islands.
