Comcast Cable has announced the opening of a new customer support centre in Hudson, New Hampshire. The facility will hold approximately 600 people and currently has more than 100 employees.
Comcast plans to have 200 employees working in this facility by year-end, which includes nearly 100 new positions. With the new positions, Comcast will have more than 1,700 employees across the state, and more than 5,000 across its Greater Boston footprint.
Employees at the new call centre provide support for all Comcast residential products and services, handling calls from across the Greater Boston area, which serves 1.6 million customers across New Hampshire, Maine, Eastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod and the Islands. The new 127,000 square-foot, 600-seat facility is located at 55 Executive Drive. Ongoing reservations will allow for future employee growth in 2015.
